This past weekend my friend Melanie and I went to Washington, DC to be a part of the National Cherry Blossom Parade. This was Melanie's first trip to the capital city so we tried to take in as many historical sites as possible. Saturday was a little cool but manageable. Come Sunday, Mother Nature turned against us. It rained, rained and rained. All in all, we had a great trip!

Hollee I live very far from TX and when my first counselor and role model is in my neck of the woods, in a festival that I am most definitely involved in, and doesn't even let a sister know...it hurts!
