St. Louis...here we come

Senator Kit Bond, MO became a Freedom Fighter for SWA as he (and Congress) loosened the restrictions on the Wright Amendment allowing us Dallas based travelers to now fly non-stop to MO from Dallas Love Field. Southwest has been seeking repeal of the Wright Amendment since November of 2004. The benefits to us Dallas travelers are now $49 airfares between Kansas City, St. Louis and Dallas.

Our office was so excited we took a trip to see what St. Louis was all about. For those who haven't been...St. Louis has much more than just the arch. Most of the museums, galleries and the zoo are free of charge. Now with a $49 airfare and free attractions...a good weekend getaway can't get much cheaper.

Here are some pics of the arch. For those you haven't been, you get in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory style carrier and travel up. As I've said...I promote traveling and St. Louis should be on your list.

Wright is Wrong! Thank you for not failing me with more talk of SWA...that's why I love you, Holls!

Hollee, You are right. StL is great. We went last year the 1st of July and had a wonderful time. We were only there a couple of days so we only saw the zoo and the arch. We couldn't believe the beautiful view on top of the Arch. It was fabulous. We didn't realize all the things one can do in StL either. Next time we plan to stay longer and do more. Take care Love, Aunt Angie and gang
